Does TPO membrane require a protective layer?

It depends on the TPO membrane type and application. TPO systems designed for exposed roofing generally do not require an additional protective layer because the membrane itself is intended for long-term weather exposure. For non-exposed applications, such as some basement waterproofing systems, an appropriate protective layer should be installed after the membrane is completed and inspected to prevent mechanical damage.

How much TPO membrane can be loaded in a full container?

TPO membrane loading depends on membrane thickness, roll dimensions, packaging method and container type. A full container can generally load more than 10,000 m², while larger container configurations can reach over 15,000 m². The final loading plan should be confirmed according to the selected specification and container type.

Does TPO membrane require a primer before installation?
