How To Use

Surface Preparation

Before installing the EPDM Rubber Membrane, the surface should be cleaned, leveled, and free of any debris. The surface should also be dry, as any moisture can interfere with the membrane’s adhesion.

Membrane Measurement and Cutting

The EPDM Rubber Membrane should be measured and cut to fit the surface to be covered. It is essential to take accurate measurements and ensure that the membrane is cut to the right size to avoid any issues during installation.

Membrane Application

The EPDM Rubber Membrane is applied to the surface using a suitable adhesive or bonding material. The adhesive is usually applied to both the surface and the underside of the membrane to ensure a strong bond. The membrane is then carefully rolled out onto the surface, with care taken to prevent any wrinkles or air pockets.

Seaming

Where necessary, the membrane may need to be seamed together to create a continuous waterproof barrier. This is typically done using a specialized tape or adhesive that is designed to bond with the EPDM material.

Finishing

Once the membrane is securely in place, the edges and corners should be trimmed to ensure a neat, professional finish. Any protrusions, such as pipes or vents, should also be sealed with EPDM flashing to prevent water ingress.
